Disclaimer & Comprehensive Test Report
1. General Disclaimer
ImageVixo is provided as a free, client-side image compression, conversion, and editing studio. All processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly (WASM) and JavaScript.
While we have conducted extensive unit and batch testing to ensure all features function correctly, we cannot guarantee identical results across all devices, browsers, and operating environments. Performance, compression ratios, processing speeds, and output file sizes may vary depending on:
- Hardware Specifications: CPU cores, available RAM, GPU capabilities, and memory bandwidth.
- Browser Engine: Chromium (Chrome/Edge/Opera), Firefox, Safari, or WebKit-based browsers — each implements WebAssembly, SIMD, and Canvas rendering pipelines differently.
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS — memory management and threading models differ.
- Concurrent Workload: Running multiple browser tabs, background processes, or other applications may affect processing times.
- Network Conditions: While the application executes 100% locally, initial loading of WebAssembly codec modules from CDNs depends on internet connectivity.
The test results presented below are based on a controlled testing environment and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not guaranteed to reflect your specific experience.
2. Testing Methodology
All tests were conducted using a 19.22 MB JPG image with native dimensions of 5152 × 7728 pixels (approximately 39.8 megapixels). The test environment was a standard desktop configuration with sufficient RAM and CPU resources to handle high-resolution image processing.
Two test categories were performed:
- Unit Testing: Single-image processing across all features and format conversions.
- Batch Testing: Five identical images processed simultaneously to simulate real-world multi-file workloads.
All reported metrics — including compression ratios, processing times, and output sizes — were measured using built-in performance monitoring tools and represent observed results under controlled conditions.
3. Unit Test Results
Test File: image.jpg — 19.22 MB — 5152 × 7728 px (39.8 MP)
3.1 Compression (JPG → JPG)
3.2 Format Conversion — Scaled Dimensions (853 × 1280 px)
3.3 Format Conversion — Original Dimensions (5152 × 7728 px)
3.4 Crop & Resize
3.5 Filters, Watermark & Metadata
4. Batch Test Results
Test Files: 5 × image.jpg — Each 19.22 MB — 5152 × 7728 px — Total: 96.12 MB
4.1 Compression (JPG → JPG)
4.2 Format Conversion — Scaled (853 × 1280 px)
4.3 Format Conversion — Original (5152 × 7728 px)
4.4 Crop, Resize, Filters, Watermark & Metadata (Batch)
5. Conclusion & Verification
Based on the comprehensive unit and batch testing conducted, we can confirm that:
- All claimed features are functional: Compression, format conversion, crop, resize, filters, watermarking, and metadata editing operate correctly on both single images and batch workloads.
- High-performance compression: The deep vector quantization and coordinate reduction engines deliver up to 100% compression ratios on images when scaling is permitted.
- Format conversion is complete: All 12 supported formats (JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, ICO, CUR, GIF, BMP, TIFF, JFIF, APNG) produce valid outputs with accurate structural integrity.
- Batch processing scales: Up to 5 high-resolution images processed simultaneously with consistent performance, and the architecture is designed to handle up to 100 files.
However, please note: All results—including compression ratios, processing speeds, and output file sizes—are hardware-dependent. The numbers reported above were measured on a specific test machine and may vary significantly based on your device's CPU capabilities, available RAM, browser engine, and concurrent system load.
We encourage users to run their own tests and adjust settings according to their specific hardware and quality requirements. ImageVixo provides full manual control over quality, effort, dimensions, and output formats to accommodate diverse workflows and performance expectations.
6. Final Disclaimer
ImageVixo is provided "as is" and "as available". While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information presented in this report, the results are not guaranteed to replicate exactly on your system.
We disclaim any liability for damages or losses arising from the use of this software or reliance on the performance metrics provided. Always test the application with your own images and verify the outputs before using them in production environments.
All features are verified to be functional, but individual results may vary. Your experience is dependent on your local hardware and browser configuration.
