Privacy Policy — Zero-Server Image Processing
At ImageVixo (accessible via https://imagevixo.com/), developed under the leadership of Ecosystem Architect Jawad Iftikhar, privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational core of our application design. This Privacy Policy explains how ImageVixo operates, how your data is handled, and our strict commitment to zero-server processing.
1. 100% Client-Side Architecture & Zero Server Uploads
ImageVixo is engineered as a 100% client-side application. When you use ImageVixo to compress, convert, crop, resize, filter, watermark, edit metadata, or validate image files, all processing happens locally inside your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly (WASM) technology.
Your images, graphics, photos, and files are NEVER uploaded to, transmitted through, or stored on any remote server. All file operations execute strictly in your local device RAM and browser context.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because ImageVixo runs locally on your device, we do not collect or store the following:
- Your Images & Files: We cannot see, view, access, store, or copy any of your uploaded files or exported output archives.
- Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials. No registration or login is required to use the service.
- Payment Information: ImageVixo is 100% free. We do not process or request credit cards, bank accounts, or billing information.
3. Information Handled Locally in Your Browser
To provide a smooth experience, ImageVixo uses standard web browser storage APIs to maintain your workspace state locally on your machine:
- LocalStorage: Saves your interface theme choice (Light or Dark mode) and custom settings presets. This data remains on your device until you manually clear your browser cache.
- IndexedDB (
AppDatabase): Temporarily caches active workspace image items locally on your hard drive to protect your session against accidental browser tab refreshes. Clicking "Clear All" in the application instantly purges this local database. - Session Memory (RAM): Generates temporary local Blob URLs (
blob:) to display visual previews and export ZIP archives. These temporary memory allocations are cleared when you close the browser tab.
4. EXIF Metadata & GPS Location Privacy
Digital photos often contain embedded EXIF metadata, including camera settings, timestamps, and exact GPS location coordinates.
ImageVixo includes an explicit "Strip original EXIF" option in the Metadata Manager. When enabled, all original camera tracking data, GPS location tags, and device serial numbers are permanently removed from your exported files locally before download.
5. Technical Server Logs & Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
When you visit the ImageVixo website, standard web HTTP communications take place between your web browser and static web hosting networks:
- Standard Web Server Logs: Basic, non-identifying technical log data (such as your IP address, browser type, user-agent string, referring page, and access timestamp) may be automatically recorded by web hosting infrastructure solely for network security, DDoS protection, and server health monitoring.
- Third-Party Static CDNs: To deliver high-performance WebAssembly codec modules and static JavaScript libraries, ImageVixo fetches resources from trusted static CDNs (such as
cdn.jsdelivr.net,esm.sh, andunpkg.com). Your browser's standard network requests to these CDNs are subject to their respective privacy policies.
6. Cookies & Tracking Policy
ImageVixo does NOT use cookies for user tracking, behavioral profiling, or advertising.
We do not run third-party advertising scripts, affiliate tracking pixels, or user behavior analytics tools. The local storage mechanisms mentioned above are used strictly for basic application functionality (theme memory and workspace settings).
7. International Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Under international privacy frameworks—including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):
- Data Access & Erasure: Since ImageVixo never transmits or stores your personal data or files on any server, there is no remote data for us to access, modify, or erase. You maintain 100% control over all data on your local device.
- No Data Sales: ImageVixo does not sell, rent, or trade personal data or user images to any third parties or data brokers.
8. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
ImageVixo is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). Because no personal information or files leave your device, ImageVixo complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect technical improvements or legal requirements. Any updates will be published directly on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top.
